National Board Announces Training Department Position
The National Board is looking for a full-time staff training instructor for our Columbus, Ohio, training centers.
The position serves as senior staff engineer for the National Board Training Department and is primarily responsible for classroom instruction and training material development. Job duties will also include the review and update of existing training material and assisting in the development of new training plans. Some travel for off-site classes will be necessary.
Applicants must have a minimum of five (5) years’ experience in the inspection, design, manufacture, or repair of boiler and pressure vessels. Applicants should also have knowledge of the requirements of the National Board Inspection Code and the ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code. Experience in the nuclear industry is a plus.
