Chief Boiler & Pressure Vessel Inspector Opening in Oregon
The Building Codes Division of the Oregon Department of Consumer and Business Services announces an opening for the position of chief boiler and pressure vessel inspector.
The chief inspector will direct, manage, and coordinate consistent statewide boiler and pressure vessel specialty code programs. As one of five program advisors for the Division, the candidate formulates strategies to help achieve the Division's mission of ensuring safe construction by ensuring appropriate boiler and pressure vessel specialty code rules are promulgated and followed for carrying out the statewide boiler and pressure vessel specialty code.

The Oregon Building Codes Division adopts and enforces the statewide building code relating to the construction, reconstruction, alteration, and repair of buildings and other structures and the installation of mechanical, plumbing, and electrical devices and equipment.
