Paul J. Welch Joins National Board
Paul J. Welch has been elected to the National Board representing Georgia. He is employed by the Georgia Department of Labor as acting director, safety engineering.
From 1970 to 1990 he served as electrician in the US Navy. From 1991 to 1993 he worked as electrician for the Norfolk Southern Railroad. In 1993 he joined the Georgia Department of Labor, where he has worked as boiler/elevator/amusement inspector and safety inspector supervisor I and II. In September he became acting director.
Mr. Welch holds National Board Commission No. 11566 with “A” and “B” endorsements. Residing in Social Circle, Georgia, he and his wife Margo have two children, Paul Jr. and Kenneth.
